Dove is a Unilever personal care brand founded in the US in 1957, now sold in over 150 countries. In India, Dove is one of the most widely distributed body care brands with strong pharmacy, grocery, and e-commerce presence. The brand is known for its 1/4 moisturising cream positioning, Body Love campaign for body positivity, and accessible price point. Dove's parent company is Unilever, which operates globally including in markets where animal testing is required for import registration (e.g. China). Dove is not independently certified cruelty-free by Leaping Bunny or PETA.
