A triple-active brightening serum with 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid (EAA) at a brand-confirmed 10%, Niacinamide at a brand-confirmed 5%, and Sodium Hyaluronate for hydration. Gluconolactone (PHA) appears at position 13, adding gentle exfoliation and antioxidant synergy. Ferulic Acid at position 12 stabilises EAA against oxidation. The formula uses Sodium Phytate (plant-derived, biodegradable chelator) — a positive sustainability and safety choice over EDTA. Sodium Metabisulfite is an antioxidant stabiliser that protects EAA from degradation. Tris(Tetramethylhydroxypiperidinol) Citrate is a light stabiliser used to protect the formula from UV-induced degradation. Calcium Gluconate acts as an ionic stabiliser. One of the more technically sophisticated Vitamin C formulas available in the Indian mass-premium segment.

Ingredient SafetyExcellent47/50Clean allergen profile with a fragrance free formula.
3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid has an excellent safety profile and is more photostable than L-ascorbic acid. Niacinamide at 5% is among the most well-tolerated cosmetic actives. No synthetic fragrance, no parabens, no SLES, no silicones. Sodium Metabisulfite as an antioxidant stabiliser is a sulphite compound — may cause reactions in individuals with sulphite sensitivity (rare; primarily a food allergy, not typically triggered by topical use). Sodium Phytate replaces EDTA as the chelating agent — biodegradable and a better environmental choice. Gluconolactone (PHA) at position 13 is the gentlest exfoliant class, appropriate even for sensitive skin.

EAA + Niacinamide + Ferulic Acid is a well-designed triple-active combination: EAA provides antioxidant and tyrosinase-inhibiting brightening, Niacinamide adds melanosome transfer inhibition (a second brightening pathway), and Ferulic Acid stabilises EAA while providing independent antioxidant support. Gluconolactone (PHA) adds a gentle exfoliation dimension that improves EAA's access to skin surface. The inclusion of Sodium Phytate as chelator and Sodium Metabisulfite + Tris(Tetramethylhydroxypiperidinol) Citrate as formula stabilisers indicates a technically careful approach to EAA stability — which is a real formulation challenge in Indian heat.
Claims EvidenceExcellent19/20Good evidence for stated claims based on public information.
Both 10% EAA and 5% Niacinamide are brand-confirmed. Ferulic Acid and Gluconolactone concentrations not disclosed but both are called out on the product page. Full INCI is accessible. Sodium Phytate chelator is a commendable positive. No unsubstantiated clinical claims. Fragrance-free status is accurate.
Ethics & SustainabilityConcern4/10Cruelty-free Indian brand.
Cruelty-free Indian brand. Uses Sodium Phytate (biodegradable chelator) rather than EDTA — a notable positive. No synthetic fragrance or parabens. No independent sustainability sourcing verification published.

EAA's heat stability makes this Vitamin C formula appropriate for India's warm climate — unlike L-ascorbic acid which oxidises rapidly. The dual brightening mechanism (EAA + Niacinamide) directly addresses PIH from UV exposure and acne marks prevalent in Indian skin types. Mandatory SPF during daytime use.
