₹499 · ₹17/ml • Analysed 5 June 2026
A beginner-friendly brightening serum combining 5% Niacinamide (position 2), Alpha Arbutin (position 3), and a B-vitamin complex including Pyridoxine HCl, Inositol, Biotin, Thiamine HCl, and Riboflavin. Zinc PCA (position 5) adds sebum-regulating support. Dimethyl Isosorbide (position 12) functions as a penetration enhancer. The multivitamin blend at the formula's tail end is present at trace concentrations and offers antioxidant and skin-conditioning benefits rather than primary treatment efficacy. Vitamin E (Tocopheryl Acetate position 14) and Ascorbyl Palmitate (position 15, a stable oil-soluble Vitamin C form) add antioxidant support. Uses Sodium Gluconate, a biodegradable chelating agent — a positive sustainability choice.

Ingredient SafetyExcellent45/50Clean allergen profile with a fragrance free formula.
Niacinamide at 5% is one of the most well-tolerated cosmetic actives, appropriate for all skin types including sensitive. Alpha Arbutin at position 3 is safe and stable. The B-vitamin complex (Biotin, Riboflavin, Pyridoxine, Thiamine, Inositol) at tail positions presents no safety concerns. Diethylene Glycol Monoethyl Ether (Transcutol) at position 7 is a penetration enhancer with an established safety record. No synthetic fragrance, no parabens, no SLES. Sodium Gluconate as the chelating agent is biodegradable. Pullulan (position 25) is a natural film-former.
Formula DesignStrong17/20Niacinamide (5%) and Alpha Arbutin (position 3) address pigmentation via two mechanisms: melanosome transfer inhibition and tyrosinase inhibition respectively.
Niacinamide (5%) and Alpha Arbutin (position 3) address pigmentation via two mechanisms: melanosome transfer inhibition and tyrosinase inhibition respectively. Zinc PCA adds a third independent mechanism via sebum control. Ascorbyl Palmitate at position 15 provides antioxidant stability support. The B-vitamin multivitamin blend at trace concentrations supports general skin function but at these INCI positions, clinical brightening efficacy is limited. Sclerotium Gum and Pullulan serve as natural texturising agents that improve product spreadability.
Claims EvidenceExcellent18/20Good evidence for stated claims based on public information.
5% Niacinamide is brand-confirmed. Alpha Arbutin and individual B-vitamin concentrations are not disclosed. Full INCI list is publicly accessible. Sodium Gluconate chelator is a positive transparency note. No unsubstantiated clinical trial claims. Fragrance-free status is accurate.
Ethics & SustainabilityFair5/10Cruelty-free.
Cruelty-free. Indian brand. Uses Sodium Gluconate (biodegradable chelator) instead of EDTA — a notable positive. No synthetic fragrance or parabens. No independent sustainability sourcing verification published.

Niacinamide 5% + Alpha Arbutin dual brightening is well-suited for India's PIH-dominant skin concerns. The 5% niacinamide (versus 10%) is better tolerated by beginners and those with reactive skin. Suitable as a daily serum for all Fitzpatrick types.
