Pilgrim is a Mumbai-based clean beauty brand founded in 2019 with a focus on Korean and Spanish beauty-inspired formulations adapted for Indian skin and climate. PETA-certified cruelty-free, not sold in mandatory animal-testing markets. Products are manufactured in India and South Korea. The brand targets Fitzpatrick III-V skin with targeted actives at disclosed concentrations. Positioned in the affordable-premium segment. The serum range is largely fragrance-free with strong ingredient disclosure. The retinol night cream is the weakest product in the lineup, with undisclosed retinol concentration, synthetic fragrance, and dual cosmetic dyes in a leave-on overnight format. The sunscreen uses Octinoxate under ongoing FDA safety review and Octocrylene under EU scientific scrutiny, and cannot be described as reef-safe.
