This cleanser's gentle surfactant system removes excess sebum without stripping the barrier, a meaningful design choice for oily skin types who typically overdo cleansing. The paraben preservatives should be contextualised: rinse-off products have substantially lower dermal absorption than leave-on, and parabens in rinse-off applications are among the most well-studied preservation systems in all of cosmetics.
