A premium dual-retinoid anti-ageing serum-cream combining Retinol (position 6) and Retinaldehyde (position 16). Retinaldehyde (Retinal) is one step closer to retinoic acid in the Vitamin A conversion pathway than retinol — typically 10-20x more potent at comparable concentrations, with faster visible results and somewhat higher irritation potential. Matrixyl 3000 (Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 + Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, positions 12-13) is a well-researched collagen-stimulating peptide combination. Alpha-Arbutin (position 6) adds a tyrosinase-inhibiting brightening mechanism. Ascorbyl Glucoside (position 15) is a stable glycoside Vitamin C form. 4-t-Butylcyclohexanol is included to reduce retinoid irritation. Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate (licorice root) is an anti-inflammatory active.

Ingredient SafetyStrong43/50Clean allergen profile with a fragrance free formula.
Dual retinoid (Retinol + Retinaldehyde) approach amplifies both efficacy and irritation potential compared to retinol alone. Not suitable for beginners — this is an advanced formula for experienced retinoid users. Pregnancy contraindicated for both retinoids. 4-t-Butylcyclohexanol is included specifically to mitigate retinoid irritation. Alpha-Arbutin at position 6 is safe. Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate has strong anti-inflammatory action. C13-15 Alkane at position 2 is a synthetic branched-chain hydrocarbon solvent with a good safety profile. Pentaerythrityl Tetra-Di-T-Butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate (a hindered phenol antioxidant) protects retinoids from oxidation in formula. Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate (EDDS) is a biodegradable chelating agent.

Retinaldehyde (Retinal) is the most potent retinoid form below prescription retinoic acid — its inclusion alongside retinol creates a dual-retinoid delivery with complementary kinetics. Matrixyl 3000 (Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 + Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7) has strong clinical evidence: a 2009 study demonstrated statistically significant wrinkle depth reduction over 12 weeks. Ascorbyl Glucoside is a stable water-soluble Vitamin C form that adds antioxidant and brightening benefit. The serum-cream texture from C13-15 Alkane, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, and Behenyl Alcohol creates a rich application experience appropriate for this premium formula.
Claims EvidenceExcellent18/20Good evidence for stated claims based on public information.
Retinol and Retinaldehyde presence is disclosed but individual concentrations are not confirmed. Matrixyl 3000 peptide system is named on product page. Alpha-Arbutin and Ascorbyl Glucoside are named. Pregnancy contraindication is communicated. 4-t-Butylcyclohexanol's anti-irritant function is not explained. Price point (₹1,599) implies premium positioning; published clinical data for this specific formula would strengthen claims.
Ethics & SustainabilityFair5/10Cruelty-free Indian brand.
Cruelty-free Indian brand. Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate (EDDS) as chelator is biodegradable — a positive. No synthetic fragrance. Premium retinoid formula with a clean additive profile.

Dual retinoid formulas are for experienced retinoid users who have already established tolerance to 0.1-0.3% retinol. In India, always start with 2x weekly use — retinaldehyde's greater potency means darker skin tones face elevated PIH risk from retinisation irritation. Night use only, strict morning SPF.
