A sulfate-free hydrating cleanser built on three mild coconut-derived surfactants: Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Decyl Glucoside, and Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate. These are among the gentlest cleansing systems available, appropriate for dry, sensitive, and post-treatment skin. Panthenol (Vitamin B5) and Sodium Hyaluronate support barrier hydration post-cleansing. Amino acids L-Proline and Hydroxyproline — structural components of collagen — at near-final positions act as skin-conditioning NMF (natural moisturising factor) analogues. Chondrus Crispus (Red Algae) Extract adds marine carrageenan for hydration. Contains PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate as a co-emulsifier and Allergen Free Fragrance.

One of the mildest cleansing surfactant systems available: Sodium Cocoamphoacetate (amphoteric, extremely gentle), Decyl Glucoside (non-ionic, sugar-derived), and Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate (one of the mildest anionic surfactants). No SLS, no SLES, no Cocamide DEA, no parabens. PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate is a non-ionic co-emulsifier derived from coconut; well-tolerated at cosmetic concentrations. Polyquaternium-7 is a mild conditioning polymer, low sensitisation risk. L-Proline and Hydroxyproline are naturally occurring amino acids — skin-identical NMF components. Contains Allergen Free Fragrance — synthetic fragrance, not fragrance-free. Disodium EDTA as chelator. Very low irritation profile overall.

The surfactant system is intelligently designed: Sodium Cocoamphoacetate and Decyl Glucoside together provide foam and cleansing at a very low irritation threshold, and Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate (NCI) creates a creamy, conditioning lather. This combination removes makeup, sunscreen, and excess sebum without stripping the barrier. Panthenol at position 17 and Sodium Hyaluronate at position 18 act as leave-behind hydrators. The inclusion of L-Proline and Hydroxyproline is a differentiated choice — these amino acids are collagen-building block precursors and skin NMF components, rare inclusions in a rinse-off format. Chondrus Crispus Extract provides marine carrageenan, a polysaccharide humectant.
Claims EvidenceStrong17/20Good evidence for stated claims based on public information.
The 'dual action makeup remover and hydrating cleanser' claim is reasonable for this surfactant system. Active concentrations for Panthenol, HA, and amino acids are not disclosed. The 'leaves skin hydrated' claim is plausible for a gentle rinse-off system but difficult to substantiate at the concentrations likely present after rinsing. No published clinical data. Full INCI is accessible. Allergen Free Fragrance content is not specifically disclosed on front-of-pack.
Ethics & SustainabilityFair5/10Cruelty-free, vegan, Indian brand.
Cruelty-free, vegan, Indian brand. No SLS or parabens. Mild coconut-derived surfactants are more biodegradable than petrochemical alternatives. Disodium EDTA as chelator rather than Sodium Phytate or Sodium Gluconate. Contains Allergen Free Fragrance.

India's hard water in many cities (Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru) can interact with anionic surfactants to leave a residue on skin; the amphoteric + glucoside + isethionate system in this formula is less prone to hard-water soap scum than SLS-based cleansers. Suitable for dry skin common in North India's winter months and in air-conditioned environments. Post-treatment skin (post-acid, post-retinol, post-waxing) benefits from this gentle surfactant system.
