A BHA rinse-off cleanser with Salicylic Acid at a brand-confirmed 2% — the maximum permitted for leave-on cosmetics in India and the EU, which makes this a potent rinse-off formula. Niacinamide at a brand-confirmed 1% assists with sebum regulation and anti-inflammation. Four forms of hyaluronic acid (Crosspolymer, standard, Acetylated, and Hydrolysed) address hydration at multiple skin depths, offsetting the drying potential of the BHA. Centella Asiatica Extract (Cica) provides anti-inflammatory support. The formula uses a mild taurate-based surfactant system with Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine — less harsh than SLS/SLES alternatives. Contains CI 14720, a synthetic azo dye that may cause reactions in aspirin-sensitive individuals. Allergen Free Fragrance present.

Salicylic Acid at 2% is the maximum concentration permitted for leave-on use; in a rinse-off format, exposure time is shorter, making this potent but appropriate for acne-prone oily skin. Not suitable for sensitive, dry, or barrier-compromised skin without assessment. Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate and Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine are milder alternatives to SLS — less stripping and lower irritation potential. No SLS, no SLES, no parabens. CI 14720 (Red 40) is a synthetic azo dye; safe for most users but may trigger reactions in individuals sensitive to aspirin (cross-reactivity) or with known azo dye sensitivity. Contains Allergen Free Fragrance — synthetic fragrance, not fragrance-free. Disodium EDTA as chelator.

2% Salicylic Acid in a rinse-off format delivers meaningful BHA activity at the skin surface and into pores during contact time before rinsing — studies support this for reducing blackheads and superficial congestion. Niacinamide at 1% (brand-confirmed) adds anti-inflammatory and sebum-regulating support. The four-form hyaluronic acid system (standard, crosspolymer, acetylated, and hydrolysed molecular weights) is a genuine formulation differentiator: each form acts at a different hydration depth, providing comprehensive moisture support to counter BHA-associated dryness. Centella Asiatica adds calming support to offset any BHA-triggered irritation.
Claims EvidenceStrong17/20Good evidence for stated claims based on public information.
SA at 2% and Niacinamide at 1% are both brand-confirmed — good transparency. The four HA forms are disclosed but without concentrations. CI 14720 dye is listed but not called out in marketing materials as a synthetic colourant, which could be more transparent. No published clinical data. Allergen Free Fragrance inclusion is not prominently disclosed.
Ethics & SustainabilityFair5/10Cruelty-free, vegan, Indian brand.
Cruelty-free, vegan, Indian brand. No SLS or parabens. Taurate-based surfactants are more biodegradable than petrochemical alternatives. Disodium EDTA (not biodegradable) and synthetic azo dye CI 14720 are environmental considerations. Allergen Free Fragrance still a synthetic fragrance component.

Salicylic Acid is particularly effective for oily, acne-prone skin common in India's tropical climate. The oil-soluble BHA reaches into sebum-blocked pores, making it more effective for blackheads and comedones than water-based cleansers. The 4-form HA system is especially relevant for Indian summers where BHA can cause transient dryness. Use morning or evening, not both — once daily is sufficient for most acne-prone users.
