Foxtale

Foxtale is a Mumbai-based direct-to-consumer skincare brand founded in 2021 by Romita Mazumdar, a former investor who identified a gap in India's skincare market for affordable, evidence-based formulations with full ingredient transparency. The brand operates an R&D lab in Chennai and builds products specifically around Indian skin concerns: PIH from acne and UV exposure, oiliness in tropical climates, and the need for photostable SPF. Foxtale's sunscreen line uses next-generation EU-approved UV filters (Tinosorb M, Uvinul A Plus) that are not yet approved by the FDA. Products are fragrance-reduced (Allergen Free Fragrance system throughout) but not fully fragrance-free. All formulas are cruelty-free and vegan. Foxtale does not carry animal-testing-required market registrations.
